Our #1 priority is helping individuals grow personally and professionally by preparing them for business ownership. Our #2 priority is helping people build an asset that produce on-going (residual) income.
Deangelo Washington
Hello my name is Deangelo Washington Bey and I am the founder and CEO of Washington Global Associates, LLC. I’m originally from Cincinnati, OH but now reside in Atlanta, GA. I’ve been a business consultant for over 5 years and my #1 role is educating people about the importance of business ownership and creating passive income.
My journey started in 2008. I was 22 years old and a junior at North Carolina A&T State University. This was the year I was introduced to the network marketing profession. This was also the year that I learned the difference between an asset and a liability (sad I know). I was introduced to a business team of men and women who talked about creating passive/residual income, retiring young wealthy and free, building assets outside of working a job, etc. All of this sounded appealing and I wanted to learn more but I knew at the time that I was not ready to start and build a business. My main objective at the time was graduating college and I did just that in December of 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Technology.
After graduation, I went on a personal development journey. I started to read self-help books like “The Magic Of Thinking Big”, “How to Win Friends and Influence People”, and “Think and Grow Rich” just to name a few. I attended meetings and conferences to learn from people who were already financially independent. I was learning success principles and preparing for business ownership but I was missing one component and that component was mentorship.
In 2013 I started my first real job at a big manufacturing company in Atlanta, GA as an Operations Technician. Easy job that paid fairly well but I knew after working there a few years I did not want to work a job for the rest of my life and retiring at 65 was not a goal of mine.
In 2016 I partnered with a company called Leadership Team Development (LTD). LTD was founded by 12 multi-millionaires who all became wealthy in the network marketing profession. They created a mentorship program where they teach people how to build an asset that can produce passive income outside of their full time job or traditional business. I joined this mentorship program and started to be mentored and coached by a couple who retired in their late 20s. As I started to build an asset of my own I began to connect with other young professionals who were interested in doing the same. Now I am on a mission to help LTD reach 100K people in the next couple of years.
Outside of work and helping people live better lives I love spending time with my family. I have a beautiful wife who is a nurse practitioner and two beautiful daughters. We love taking family trips and watching movies together. I also love to play basketball and shoot pool when I can.
